Founded on February 25th, 1958, Jens Mikkelson founded Mankato Mobile Radio as an Authorized Motorola Service Station. The primary services were installation and service of equipment sold by Motorola Inc. in Schaumburg, IL. Mankato Mobile Radio was purchased by Paul & Joyce Hoefs in 1979.
